Well, I'm noticing one more general thing that I didn't expect: if I run some
arbitrary executable and then right-click on its icon on the launcher and do
lock to launcher, it does lock the icon to launcher but that icon is
completely useless!!!

I have a laptop with an external monitor connected. When the monitor is
connected, I only use the external monitor. Usually, when I unplug the

I fixed the issue by running hp-setup. It discovered the printer,
created a new instance of the printer, I deleted the old one, and the
new one works.
Anyway it's ridiculous that an existing printer just breaks.
I'll confirm the bug as I think there's enough information in the report
to address
