Having the same problem (i.e. Evolution started instead of prefered

Here's my story that I think is closely related to the bug report here,
if not the same:
I'm running Ubuntu Hardy (final) on a Compaq Presario V2610CA laptop,
with an ATI Xpress 200M card. I'm using the fglrx ATI proprietary
driver (available with the Ubuntu restricted manager) and desktop
I've found that idle time for suspending set in gnome-power-manager
(GPM) is respected in my case if I don't close the laptop cover (lid).
Closing the lid makes my screen blank (whether or not I set blank the
screen in GPM), but nothing else.

again the latest fglrx driver, as provided by AMD/ATI (i.e. version
April 16, 2008, released on April 16), after having completely removed
the fglrx driver provided by Ubuntu repos. After installation/reboot,

After the latest update (still in Hardy Beta), things seems to be back
to normal, i.e. the right icon is now showned. I'll do some more
testing and if the problem still occurs, I'll be back with another
report.

After last night packages update, Deskbar now freezes upon entering
search terms. I've tested it with various plugins, and various display
options. Everything was OK prior to this update.
