Sorry to be so long in replying (Time Machine and
Thanks both. That sounds pretty straightforward though Im waiting for
my Mac to finish rebuilding from Time Machine before I can give it a
whirl. Will be sure to report back.

Hi. Im wondering if anyone could set me right on configuring an
Innomaker PCM5122 I2S DAC hat on a Pi4b. Everything is assembled and LMS
and squeezelite are both up to date and running, but Im getting nothing
from the RCA outs. In output settings I have tried using both the Allo
Boss2 DAC and
Just for closure, I returned a few days ago from holiday to find the
replacement Pi from PiHut (who handled the exchange with speed and
minimal fuss), booted it up with the previously configured SD card, and
all seems well and stable. It has been playing without issue for three
or four days now,

I hadn't but I am trying it now. I've rebooted, added that and saved it.
LMS is playing now and I'll be sure to let you know if and when it stops
again. Finge

You mean the Resize FS option? Yes I did, following advice from
elsewhere. To 100% I think. After a reboot I find the following there:
Resize partition 2 (PCP_ROOT)

Unfortunately I'm not out of the woods. The music just stopped after an
hour or so and I can't reach the pCP home page again so I guess the pi
has fallen over once more. A scan of the network finds both instances of
the Pi still there, but the router shows them as off-line. If I reboot
is there

yes USB2. Do the USB3 ones have any purpose in this scenario?

Thanks for the questions:
I've used both remote and manual means of

OK, so I'm back again sorry to say. Not a pCP problem this time, so
maybe I should take this elsewhere. As I mentioned previously, I just
got a new DAC (a Topping E30) and I set it up as per the instructions
here https://docs.picoreplayer.org/projects/add-topping-e30-usb-dac/. It

Pleased to say we're back in business. In the end I went back to page
one and reinstalled pCP

Is a "fixed IP" the same as Static address? Either way, no is the
answer. There is a facility on the router to "reserve" IP addresses but
I have not added the pi to that list yet.

WOAH! That did it! The Files folder is now mounted and and LMS is busy
scanning the 50k files. Thanks you so much d6jg, or should I say Ronnie.
I'm truly obliged.
Thanks for the generous feedback and suggestions. I'm happy to report
that PCP and LMS are up and running, although I've still had no luck in
mounting the Zen to the LMS media library. That said I'm able to see and
play all the files on the drive via the Remote Libraries plugin--It's
just another

Sorry but I don't know the technicalities of the difference between a
NAS and an external hard drive, nor what a "Vortexbox appliance" might
be. I was under the

I don't think I see an option on the NAS to do that. As mentioned that's
running VortexBox

Thanks. I'd seen your question to this effect in an earlier post, but so
far have had no luck setting up CIFS similarly (screenshot)

Thanks for that. I was under the impression that the NAS would behave
like a USB-connected HD, so

Hi
I'm a longtime user of LMS but I am in the process of installing PCP on
a Raspberry Pi4 in order to use it as a standalone, always on, LMS
server attached by USB to 3TB of music on my NAS. Presently I run LMS on
my main computer (M1 MacMini) which is not convenient. I'm not really
familiar
