That should work. It might help us give more detail if you can let us know
which platform you are using, for example Windows, Mac, GnuLinux (eg Ubuntu,
Mint, Suse, Redhat, Mageia, whatever) or a Bsd. Also might help if you could
le us know which version as there is a lot of difference

Has the issue been resolved well enough? IE8 was discovered to have a large
number of extremely serious vulnerabilities around the time of the original
posting to the extent that MS released patches outside of their usual Patch
Tuesday schedule.

I just installed some of the listed fonts to my Ubuntu 13.04/MATE laptop.
I used the
highlight right-click open with the font viewer.
Then I install the fonts with the install button.
I had not problems.

I did some initial research on this. It seems that .pages ect formats
work in the same way as ODF formats in the fact they are some form of
compressed archive. I was able to explore them through a archive such as
7zip.
