Here is a what I saw. * I enter the word bruinsma * place cursor between 'n' 's' * CTRL + '-' nothing happens. However if I add text which pushes that word to straddle 2 lines, a hyphen appears between 'n' 's' and stays in the word for the foreseeable. Is this what you are attempting?
