I tried with mysqldump, inserting rows in the sogo_folder_info tables, and creating new tables from the dump. I tried with sogo-tool restore (from a backup) : restore -f ALL No way! There is a lack of error message in the `-f ALL` option. I began by restoring preferences, with `sogo-tool restore -p ` So far, so good! I did not believe it! Then I tried `sogo-tool restore -l `, which gave me the list of folders. I began by Contacts/personal, and had an error for user g.fremery no user table '/Users/g.fremery/Contacts/personal' found Having the error, I was able to fix the problem: in the backup file the table names were /Users/g.frem...@imereos.fr/Contacts/personal, for this folder. I had to delete the @imereos part of the folder name, and could restore the backup. I already had a problem concerning the backup file name: it was something like au...@imereos.fr, and I had to rename it shortly as aUser to be able to load it (error message saying the backup file could not be loaded). It's a pity that the `restore -f ALL` did not send me an error upon the table name, as the `-f ` did. Have a nice Sunday! -- jm -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] 3 domains with ldap
Hi all, We are trying to setup a SOGo test case with 3 domains. Here is one (the last in the config file) of our 3 domains entries. cloud-business-services.eu SOGoMailDomain cloud-business-services.eu SOGoSuperUsernames postmaster SOGoLanguage French SOGoUserSources CNFieldName cn IDFieldName mail IMAPHostFieldName mailHost UIDFieldName mail baseDN domainName=cloud-business-services.eu,o=domains,dc=freezbiz,dc=org bindDN cn=Manager,dc=freezbiz,dc=org bindFields mail bindPassword canAuthenticate YES displayName Carnet adresses Partagé hostname 127.0.0.1 id contact isAddressBook YES port 389 We log in with an email address, say jm.ol...@cloud-business-services.eu Ldap logs show that the user is queried in the first, then in the second domain but not in the third, which is the good one with that email address. So, the login is failing. Obviously (?), if we try to log in with a user belonging to the first, or to the second mail domain, login succeeds. We tried to delete one of the two first domains: login succeeds with the last domain (which is the last of two and fails when it was the last of three). I do not know if I am clear enough, but here is my stupid question: is there any kind of limit in the domain number ? Something missing in the domain configuration ? Thanks, -- jm -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Bonjour, SOGo beta2 installed on Debian Squeeze, replacing SOGo 1.3.9, with ldap backend. The user d...@cloud-business-services.eu can log into SOGo web ui. [SOGo] upgrade procedure from beta version
Bonjour, Can anyone tell me what is the preferred procedure for upgrading from a SOGo 2 beta version? I made a fresh install with SOGo 2.0.0beta2, from sources. Configured as read in the doc concerning Outlook and OpenChange. So far, so good! Then I tried to update to beta3: `make samba` fails if I choosed to keep the /usr/local/samba directory. I made a copy of the beta2 /usr/local/samba directory, agreed for deletion of /usr/local/samba/ and finished the installation process, without any further configuration and provisionning. Last step was to copy the content of the backuped private/ directory, smb.conf and content of the var/locks directory. Was it enough? Too much? May be a backup of the openchange.ldb, samdb, smb.conf would have been sufficient? Is there a better way to achieve this goal? Thanks, -- jm -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I fear it is not so simple ! What we did (Debian Squeeze amd64) : - remove all SOGo and SOPE packages (remove, not purge SOGo). - backup /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo.conf, /etc/init.d/sogo these files are not removed if you did not purge the packages - compile and install SOGo, SOPE, openchange - configure according to the Inverse documentation - modify /etc/init.d/sogo, and /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo accordingly (path are now relative to /usr/local) - create (or copy from Debian packages) a Samba init script - take care of Samba starting order : must be after SOGo and slapd - create some logrotate config file for samba - start SOGo, start Samba That was fine. [SOGo] Closing windows in FF with beta4
Bonjour, I have compiled SOGo v2 beta4 sources, thanks to Christian Mack. I do not know why, but I needed to symlink /usr/local/samba/bin/pidl to achieve the compilation of OpenChange sources (revision 3575 patched). Then, weird things are happening when we used the web ui with Firefox (in fact Iceweasel 8.0 for Debian) : some windows do not close or just clear their content without closing (grey background). Some examples: Preference window : close button do not close, and "close/record" button clear the page without closing. Compose window : the close button do not close the window. I am browsing on single window mode, with TabBrowser extension for FF, so new "windows" (for Preferences or Compose) are opened in a new tab. IE8 seems to be Ok (a colleague of mine tested it on an XP box), Opera 11.00 too on my box (Debian Testing Wheeze). My Opera opens the windows I am talking about in a new window, not in a tab. Is it a Firefox bug? Thanks, -- jm -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] 1.3.12 no mail folders visible in WebUI

(h!) I've just upgraded some Squeeze Servers and 3 instances of SOGo, without any problem (upgrade of php5 security fixes too). The upgrade sql script does exists in /usr/share/doc/sogo/sql-update-1.3.11_to_1.3.12-mysql.sh (for mysql, but without the -mysql for postgresql databases). Happy upgrade! -- jm -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] SOGo beta5 sources
Bonjour, Is there, somewhere, a link to download the beta5 version of SOGo 2, and its dependancies ? I didn't find any on SOGo website. Only for beta4. Thanks. -- jm -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
