You should be able to compare the table layouts by looking in the vmysql.h file for both versions. I am sure there have been some changes made along the way. Michael. - Original Message - From: Jan Reilink [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 10:12 PM

RE: [vchkpw] IMAP + vipmap

I'm still having a hard time with this.. courier imap has been recompiled, and so has vpopmail. I need to be able to use vipmap'd domains with both POP3 and IMAP. The POP3 sessions work fine; The problem is the imap sessions still use the --enable-default-domain domain instead of the one

[vchkpw] changing default location of maildirs

Well I think I figured it out. If I configure my smtp and pop3 as the ip instead of the dns name e.g. 207.168.116.66 vise mail.trells.com, I guess I will have to just tell the users there IP's instead of dns name. Joe -Original Message- From: Joe Oaks [mailto:trell;trells.com] Sent:

Is there a way to implement password aging? Our users need to change there passwords at least twice a year. Currently we use password aging on the /etc/passwd file but are going to migrate to the vpasswd and need this same functionality. Thanks in advance. Joe

If you use the vpopmail with the mysql backend, then you could add an additional column to the table so that each user has a field that stores the date their password was last changed Then you could crontab a daily script that scans the SQL looking for users with old passwords Perhaps email
