I have made two technique step-by-steps, Parallel Weave and Touchdubbing.
It's online but has not been linked to from the main site yet. I thought I
would fish some on the list first (and with 'fish', I don't mean just from
you, Allan).
Anyone having any comments on them?

As to the touch dubbing, I'll try it on smaller hooks. Not sure why, but
I've gotten away from waxing thread when dubbing. This would save some time.

I sometimes used a foam hopper as indicator, with a little nymph hanging
under it. The size and shape of the hopper is a little bit adjusted to give
it a little bit more caddis look, making it more interesting to the fishing
around here. Am I using an indicator? Noupp, I'm just saving time by
Jester is here, still tired from the Swedish Fishing Fair. Three days of
foam fly tying... I still feel the Zap-A-Gap rush. This time my weird
flies weren't the only smile trigger. The foam hat caught a few laughs too.

Monofilament can work. A taper can be achieved by taking a length and sand
paper it at its centre until it breaks off in two... and then you'll have
your two in one go and it's just cutting them to length left (and clear ones
too).

Me: That's the sh***y thing with living overseas. Others get their DVD's
after a couple of days... while I have to wait and read about it. It's like
being a child after Christmas, hearing all about the cool presents your
friends got... while you aren't allowed to open your own until New Year's
