I don't know too much about this, but I've been following html5 developments as much as my brain will allow me. It seems that for browsing on desktops and laptops, this bodes well for the immediate future as far as interactivity. But as for other video playback devices, h264 is going to hold on

i tested the Zi8 with the senn ew100 lav mics. (this mic has an adjustable output level and it took a couple of tries to get the sound right.) in the end had good levels with no high pitched sounds. has anyone else tried mics that have adjustable levels? maybe that's the key? i mainly bought
