At guess you are used to using a camera where the videos youve made show up as files, which you then tranfer across to the PC. With DV cameras it isnt quite like that. The computer doesnt see whats on the tape as a file. So, the proecdure is that you need to use some video editing/capturing t

Hi, Quicktime doesn't like to deal with muxed (audio and video in one  file) mpeg files when it comes to exporting.  You need something to  use something else to de-mux them. ffmpeg is good for this but Mpeg  Streamclip is probably easier as it is designed specifically for this. Basically
