which is why you can't read iBooks or Kindle books with the device locked. Only
synthesizers controlled by the app doing the reading, like Voice Dream Reader,

I am not Anne. But I think I could help. There is a switch for the 12
battery pack. Look on the rear where the cord protrudes out of the pack,
and you will see a very small switch. It moves from left to right and back

If you have your computer set to remove the Emails from the server, and your
computer gets the Email first, then you won't see it on your phone.
