It is supposed to be an alternative for syncing files to and from your
iDevice.
If iTunes is working fine for you, you don't want to pay for an application
you don't need.

I would live to comment here also. I have a problem where my iPad will not
answer my phone calls. After three or four or five even calls to Apple, they
totally dropped the ball and won't help me anymore. I am not a happy camper.
