Hi Sherry,
I guess we have to wait and see what Raul says, but my guess is
that you
can't control playback with the M50. It seems that things like
Play/Pause,
Previous and Next and so on are relatively common features
a stereo headset.

In the unnamed store I visited yesterday, they showed me 1 ear and 2 hear

I think we just have to be clear about the kind of head
the one or two ear information, les there be any misunderstanding of what I

Hey all. After careful deliberating I decided on going with the
Plantronics M50 again as my replacement. I like it enough to buy another
one after losing mine last Friday. In looking at the top 10 headsets,

Raul, I took a look at the M 50 and noticed below at the M 55. It seemed to
have a few more features that I hope will be accessible because I went ahead
and ordered it. It was about $13 more.
It has some service they call Vocalizer that will read messages, email and

My understanding is that the Vocaliser service is only for Android phones.

Hi, that voice service is just eye candy... Ha ha, or should I say,
iCandy. LOL. Most people who have commented on it from the M55, and the
other ones which support that service like the M155 and M165 didn't like
it that much. So, I wouldn't get too excited about it. I think someone

not to go to far off topic but, aren't earbuds just a style of headphones?
Just like closed, open, over ear, in ear, etc? haha. Just because the earbuds
might be cheap, and don't fit your ears, doesn't mean they aren't headphones,
no?

I see you said you use the M50 for audiobooks a lot. Can you start and stop
the book with the earpiece? I have the Blue Ant and I can not control books
or music with it. And to contact Siri I have to say Phone Commands and then
wait while the earpiece says a whole long sentence about

Hi there. Unfortunately these series of earpieces or headsets do not start and
stop audio playback when you press the talk button. I feel that is probably one
of their only flaws. I also have the Motorola S 11 headset which is a stereo
headset covering both ears and looping around the back of
and for me that's a huge
improvement.

Hi Raul,
I can certainly feel your pain although that might be too strong a word for

torn ACL. This happened while I was in Thailand when he was
