Yes, it's the official app from NLS so we can read books downloaded from BARD on our iDevices. Between this app, the Kindle app, the Nook app, and Voice Dream Reader or Read2Go for BookShare books, it's hard to imagine why one would need devices like the Stream or BookSense but I'm sure some may

I had not used the MLS books in quite a while, but when I heard that the Bard app was going to be released I ordered up a machine to familiarize myself with the system. I was amazed at how nice the machine felt. Very solid big buttons etc. etc., it was kind of comforting to have a talking book
