I tried all the great suggestions here with no success. The apple id website

Hello,
I was at the store today and bought a new pair of Bluetooth headphones they are
Samsung leveler headphones. The volume on voiceover appears to be very low. I
have turned up the volume every way I know how, in settings and using the
buttons on the phone. I can't seem to make it work. The volume on other things
like music is normal. Any suggestions? Did I make a mistake and buy the wrong
kind of headphones?
Thanks

Yup, audio ducking is enabled. I haven't been able to decide whether I want

Since I already had an account, I got all my stations when I logged in.
Unfortunately, I guess I’m spoiled by the version of Pandora I get when
I use Hope on my laptop, so I’m not sure I’m going to keep this app.
Firstly, it plays ads every two or three songs, which I don’t get with
Hope.

Secondly, it doesn’t sound as good.
Thirdly, if I do keep it, I’d like to find the volume control if it has
one because it seems that the music is a good deal softer than my
VoiceOver volume and I’d like to even them up a bit if I can. The Hope
version does have a volume control. But I can’t find any volume control
on this app. There’s a Setting button, but when I double tap it, I can’t
see that it does anything. If it doesn’t have a volume control, then I
may well just delete it, given it’s other drawbacks over the Hope
version, i.e. inferior sound and ads.
Thanks for any advice.

Adding items to Itunes library, as well as removing items

2017-04-15 Thread Terri Stimmel
Hello everyone,

Ok, I am not the smartest, when it comes to using iTunes. I actually can
not stand the program, and wish I could add certain things differently.
Such as ringtones.

I actually upload audiobooks and other things, using Dropbox, and I
honestly prefer this method.

However, with this big discussion about ringtones, and such, I would
like to learn more, if possible.

I used to know a little on how to use iTunes. But I haven't done it in
so long now, I just can't remember.

I do not have the latest version. It does ask me to update, but I don't.

However, if the latest version would be more accessible with windows 7,
and Jaws 17, or even NVDA, then I would do it.

So I would appreciate thoughts and opinions on this.

Ok, how do I go about adding stuff to my iTunes library?

And how do I even find the library?

Also, can I make folders within the library?

Such as, if I wanted to put a folder for ringtones, in a certain folder,
under music? Or something like that?

Also, when I view iTunes, like I did today. I played a file that needed
to use iTunes. It showed all this stuff. I was really shocked, because I
never played these files within iTunes. Or I certainly don't remember
doing so. They were all mp3 files. Parts, or whole audiobooks, audio
movies, certain episodes of audio TV shows, and even music. It was
really strange seeing all of this.

So how would I go about removing all this? Can I do that?

Or is it possible that all this stuff just shows up, and isn't actually
in the library?

And now for the big question.

If I want a file, or files actually added to my library, how do I go
about doing this?

Once I add stuff, can I then move it to certain folders?

I am assuming that the items have to senk to iTunes, first?

If so, how does this work?

Well I do apologize for all of the questions. I realize there are many
here. But I honestly just do not remember much, when it comes to iTunes.

If any of you who want to answer my questions, but don't want to clutter
up the list, please feel free to contact me privately.

Thank you to all who may read this.

Terri

I am pretty sure this happened after my session with Apple support. We spent a
lot of time on my Macbook as most of the trouble was coming from the Mac. I
did notice apps seemed to be appearing on my Mac which were apps from the

I will contact Apple support tomorrow as its too late now.

Re: missing apps in settings

2017-04-15 Thread Donna
I have had this happen only once. This happened when I got my iPhone 6 & was
installing from an iCloud backup. What I noticed is that even though the apps
installed on my iPhone the ones that didn't show up in the list of apps in
settings were no longer available in the U.S app store ie sluzzles & PaPa
Sangre & The Nightjar to name a few. Not sure if this is your problem or not.
My only 2 suggestions are 1. Try searching the app store for one of the apps
that aren't showing up in settings. 2. Erase your iPhone to manufactory
settings & reinstalling from an iCloud or iTunes backup.

Good luck!

RE: missing apps in settings

2017-04-15 Thread Richard Turner
That seems rather odd.

I'm guessing you already rebooted your phone?

So, when you open settings, and are on the screen that starts with your iTunes,
iCloud stuff, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. there are no apps listed after the Apple
default apps?

Did you find this while on the phone with Apple Accessibility?
If not, I'd call them back.

Good luck,
Richard

downloading ringtones from zedge

2017-04-15 Thread Jed Barton

Hey guys,

OK, having a pretty major problem downloading zedge ringtones. So i
saved a few of them, on the app. I then went to 1 of them and clicked
share, and 1 of the options was mail.
I then emailed it to myself and i got an email with the link. There was
no attachment.

What am i missing here, and what's the exact procedure to follow?

Thanks,
Jed

Re: wi-fi calling how to use it

2017-04-15 Thread Arnold Schmidt
I use Verizon, I assume the other carriers are the same. Whenever WIFI calling
is being used, the icon in my status bar changes from Verizon network to VZW
WIFI network. But the verizon signal has to drop below 3 out of 5 bars before
WIFI calling comes on. I have never tried turning off cellular data on purpose
to see if it would force WIFI calling to come on.

Yes, it is a very sad thing as this was one of my favorite apps.
I had corresponded with the developer quite a bit, which is partly why they
came out with the separate "full" version so you didn't have to update from
within the app to get the full version.
But, her partner had very serious health issues and she couldn't put the extra
time into maintaining the app.

Maybe one day someone will rewrite it for the latest iOS and all that it offers.

Hello,
I found the list recorder in my purchased apps only one time. However, When I
downloaded it , it was still the light version.
When I would like to update from inside the app, the “ buy now” button couldn’t
be activated from inside the app.
This app is for the rubish.

Kind regards,

RE: list recorder 2.4.4 with ios 10 and installation

2017-04-15 Thread Richard Turner

Re: Does the Pandora App Have a Volume Control?

2017-04-15 Thread Chris Chaffin

Yes, the rotor can be a very good tool to use. It allows you to customize it
to your specific needs. I personally only put the items that I am definitely
going to use on a regular basis so it will not get to cluttered.
Glad you got everything all worked out.

Clearing My Watch List In Netflix

2017-04-15 Thread Brian Hansen
How would I go about clearing my viewing activity in Netflix? According to the
instructions I found online, you have to do this through their web site, and
not the app. I can access my list, but I can’t find any way to select or
delete the items in my list. Thanks for any and all help, as well as
suggestions you all might have.

Blessings,

Brian

Scanning Cards With Apple Pay

2017-04-15 Thread Shaf Patel
Hi,
Has anybody found a good solution for easily scanning a credit card with
Apple Pay and actually getting it to scan within a minute? What methods
do you use to get the card positioned exactly how the app wants it?
