We are aware of the incoming SMS alert bug. Unfortunately, iOS does
not provide any direct way for 3rd party apps to determine when a text
message is received. We came up with a workaround that seemed to
perform well in iOS 4, but iOS 5 made some changes that broke our

I have to say, I updated vokul last week and it works much better, I was
using it to text several times during my long wait in the emergency room
while my husband was being seen before they would let me back to give his
history, much easier than trying to type more than a word or two.
