Hello Robin, I have had experience with OtterBox defender, OtterBox commuter, and delight proof cases. The OtterBox funds can get dirtier a whole heck of a lot easier than the life proof. So I really do think that the light cases maybe have a little bit more protection then the OtterBox cases,
