You don't need to do anything on the web or at Gmail. You just need to go into Settings -> Mail, Calendars, Contacts on your phone. Select your Gmail account and then just make sure Contacts is on. It'll use CardDav and sync your Google Contacts in the cloud with your addresses in your Google
