The slide keyboard if enabled is just there, all you do to use it is to find the first letter of the word you want to type, let your finger rest on that letter for a second or maybe just less (you can adjust how long you want this to be in settings somewhere) and when you hear the little tone

Reggie: I am not sure about your first question, but I do know that the card you have set up for your Apple ID is separate from Apple pay. You have to set up Apple pay separately to be used with your passcode and touch ID. Your card that is in Apple ID will be used for apps and monthly
