Thanks, Russ. I assume that most of these pre-books are of the classic
variety, i.e. not in direct competition with all of the bestsellers and
recent releases that you find on Audible.

I put mp3 files of movies, TV Shows and music in Dropbox and listen to it
all on my iPod. I do not use iTunes if at all possible. I have the Dropbox
Pro which gives me 1 TB of space, so I can enjoy a lot of media without ever
using iTunes

Hello Richard,
Thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it. I would wait and

greatest idea. But I know if I wait for a while,
You get things on and off the iPod the same way you do with the iPhone.
You can choose in iTunes to not have anything automatically sync to the iPod.
iTunes will show that you have two devices and you can select the one you have
plugged in and only put certain things on it.

Too bad, I just sold a 6th Gen on the BST list for a very reasonable price.
To eep photos and mail off the IPod:
Go into settings
Choose Icloud
You will then be able to choose the items you want to synch and those you do
not.
As for putting the MP3 files on the IPod it is easiest if you have a
