Well, I just powered down my iPhone and started up again. I went into control center, and there is still no airplay. I have AirDrop, and then the next thing in the flick order is flashlight. I would not care if flashlight went away. But I really do miss airplay darn it. It is on my iPad mini

I'm not sure I understand your message, but to bring up the Control Center, toch the status bar and then do a three finger swipe up. You don't need to go down and then up. Just touch the top of the screen with one finger until you hear a status icon and then place three fingers near the bottom

Are you touching the status bar first? Also, if you touch the very, very bottom of the center of the screen, you'll hear a two-tone sound. Move your finger straight up once you hear it and you can open the Control Center that way. The same gesture also works from the top of the screen, to open
