In this case sliding is a better term for what you need.I believe that most
people swipe and tend to lift the finger at the end of the swipe.

Jed, touch at the bottom edge of the phone. When you hear a small pop you slide

app switcher.

Well, that has changed. Apple software update only updates iCloud. To update
iTunes you must go to the Microsoft store. Even if you go to
www.itunes.com
it will send you to the Microsoft store if you are running windows.

Anna, thanks for the advice. The damp washcloth worked beautifully. I was
really worried something weird was going on. Thanks for the awesome fix. Take
care.

Hey guys. Ok, i need some words of wisdom from you guys about face id.
Now that i got my home button figured out, i seem to be having a hard time
with face id.
It supposedly did a scan. When i look at the phone it said face not
recognized. Obviously not being able to see the screen, it’s a shot

I’m afraid sadly, that’s going to take some practice. Your arm has to be a
certain length out all the time, and if you were glasses sometimes it will
affect the accuracy of Face ID. I have a hard time with this, and I do have
some residual site, so all I can say is good luck!

Hello,
We received a voicemail last night and we were able to play it, but, when we
went to play it again it would not play. When we double tapped on the play
button, we were kicked out of the voicemail and back to the list of voicemails.
We were able to play older saved voicemails, but not
Why you don't keep it simple for this moment? One thing at the time. When

That is only true if you installed the Windows Store version which I strongly
discourage, the desktop version in my opinion still works much better and still
updates via Apple Update.

Hi Jed,
This may be one of those situations where a written explanation might do little
good but somebody looking at what you do as you are doing it could make all the
difference.
Don't you have an Apple Store nearby where you could make an appointment and

Could be simply that or if it is a brand name may be it's faulty?

Hey guys. I have to be honest, not a fan of the face id. when i go

Sometimes opening the app switcher can trigger the shortcut - E.G. if
a user unknowingly presses home 3 times instead of twice. I've found
this gets more common as the device ages & dirt starts to build up
around the home button.

The easiest way to deal with face ID is to place the middle of your phone up to

Hi,
Redo the face ID setup again. Most people don’t get the face ID down the first
time. You just move your nose a little bit from 12 to 3 then to 6 then to 9
then back to 12 on the clock face. Use your nose as the guide. Do this with
just a little movement when you setup face ID. This is how
Hello Max,
Perhaps you inadvertently set your phone to mono output. To check, and to
change it back if that's what happened, go to Settings/General/Accessibility.
In the Hearing section is a Mono Audio toggle. If necessary, double-tap it to
turn it off.

I love my watch s others have said. If you do decide to get one, let me know
and I will try to help as much as I can. When you first turn the Apple Watch
on, you can press the Digital Crown three times quickly and it will turn on
VoiceOver.

Hi Nancy and Gary,
In addition to using visual voicemail on your phone, you also have the option
to call a number to check it. If you do that, you will be prompted to enter
your pin and told what numbers to dial to hear your messages, save or delete
them, etc. I would suggest using this method
The only thing I would add here is to make sure you slide your finger rather
than swiping too quickly. I had to learn this and it took time but now I find
it pretty consistent and fairly easy.

Thanks Anna,
all was set as it should be. However whilst fiddling around I got stereo sound.
One of the cords is faulty. Problem is I can’t find out if it is the Apple cord

Hi Jed,
I've found that Face ID works best if you set it up in a well-lighted room. It
can recognize your face just fine in the dark, but having light when it is
first scanning your face really helps. When you set it up, hold the phone about
a foot in front of your face. Imagine that your nose
Guys, I have a really weird occurence and was wondering how to go about fixing
it or if I were the only one to encounter it. It appears as if my right airpod
has greatly diminished bass compared to the left. This has never happened and I
didn't really notice it until the last phone update.
Hi tim,
I would try two things. Clean the right AirPod with a damp cloth. Maybe some
wax got into it and is blocking the sound.
Also, make sure your phone's balance didn't somehow get changed. Go to
Settings/General/Accessibility. In the Hearing section, there is a Left/Right

You can also enable the assistive touch virtual button and configure this
gesture with it. This is what I do for notifications, control center, etc.
