In order to move favorites in the phone app, you need to double tap

left of each favorite item will be a delete button, and a move button
to the right of the item. Double tap and hold the move button and then

Well, you could hold down the home key and say call 911
also, if you have a passcode, there is a button for placing an emergency

I also put my in case of emergency (I C E) numbers on my lock screen, so a

Many of the medical apps will have a spot for emergency numbers. I know

You use the iPhone the same way you use it in any other situation.
You don't need to do anything different except use a little common sense.

There are two ways I can think of. Use SIRI and say call 9 1 1 or set up a

Hi Patty,
Since you can call a number by voice, all you need to do is hold the home
button until you hear the tone, then say, call 9 1 1.
Take care,

That one still concerns me greatly. Were I in a situation where I was

Put it this way, if some one is close by yelling at you in a very loud

Hello Everybody,
Just a note to chime in on this with a couple of remarks and suggestions.
Firstly, Lois mentioned that you don't need SIRI to voice dial, well that
is only true on an iPhone 4 which of course doesn't have SIRI anyways, but
still has voice dialing which resides on the phone.
The question is how many of you could reliably hit the buttons on most of the
small keypads on a cell phone while trying to get away from a threatening
situation. How many of you would even think to grab for your phone in such a
situation. THere are more factors to be considered than whether or
