My son has a 17 MacBook Pro, purchased from Daniel in November last year.
MBPro 17 2.53GHzi5/4GB/500GB/SD
Upgraded to 500GB 7200rpm Drive.
Upgraded to 8GB RAM
Yesterday at start up there was no screen. Peter phoned Apple (he has
Applecare) and they arranged for an appointment
Many thanks to all for the advice and many suggestions. All will be worked
through, including the insurance option.

I was pleased to see the Print option for maps in iOS6 but can't get it to
work. I select Print and the usual Choose Printer box appears. My printer is
shown. I choose Print but nothing happens. I tried both Standard and Hybrid
views but that makes no difference. The Satellite
