before partitioning (erasing) and then copy back to the appropriate

If you want to share files, then make one of the partitions FAT32 -
which will let either OS read/write files of size up to 2 GB.

you are NOT going to be sharing files between the Mac &
Windows format the Windows NTFS.
How large is the External Firewire Drive, as you know Time Machine
requires a lot of space over time.

Hi WAMUGers
I think i will have a daughter studying at UWA next year.
Does anyone know what the setup with students and macbooks/laptops is?
Do many students use them?
Is there a wireless coverage? Does it cost?
Or is it overkill thinking about sending young daughter off to UWA
with a macbook u
uary next year.
Also do not forget about Student Discounts, and insurance is usually
part of household contents, but a good laptop lock is advisable with
a relevant length of cable.
Cheers!

Hi WAMUgers
We have added a patio/pergola outdoors, just off the Living Room.
We are about to get an electrician to wire up the lights and

I am thinking
end of the house talks to the airport device which in turn talks to the wireless router?Then can the airport talk to an airport express outside to get airtunes working to outside speakers?taBlitto Rod Blitvich - Amy & Sam’s Dad. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0409 681 256

I am aware that others have achieved similar with an Airport
extreme, so you could do that then assuming your wireless extends to
the area you want to have the Express for music, you can connect
that in as well.
