I believe that was at our local Lowe’s Food Store while she was sitting outside
waiting on a taxi.
The thief took off but was apprehended a moment later as he tried to cross
Lovill’s Creek near the store - a situation that couldn’t have been scripted
better as if it were a scene
As a whole, I prefer watching the color episodes over the black and white
episodes. My all time favorite of all 249 is HOWARDS NEW LIFE.

Thursday morning on MeTV Perry Mason there was Goldbrick Wheeler and Charley
Foley.
Also, I thought someone might answer the trivia question about "sex" on TAGS,
but I did not see an answer today, so I thought I would guess. Goober says
the word when he is filling out his dating
I never realized there were so many talented Mayberry comedians around.
Sure does make my day.
Someone asked my wife the other day if she ever wakes up crabby in the
morning. Her response was,
"No, I usually let him sleep".

Good observation! In the small town where I grew up in West Virginia in the 50s
and early 60s, everything was closed EXCEPT the drug store, which opened for a
few hours in the afternoon so people could get needed medicines. Perhaps that
was what happened in Mayberry as well?
