PersonallyI think the biggest fear is filing a report, showing up on
the radar screen, and having "big brother" come out to your place "for a
look". And considering the amount of non-compliant type accepted
systems out there.I can see their point. And don't think there
aren't people ou

I know it would sure help alot if we didn't have to submit the form to
the "Wireline Competition Bureau" at the FCC.
Kinda like mailing the information to your competition.

Why not set up a website on wispa.org that would collect the data -
anonymously?
Collect all the data they want through the organization and send them
the database or the raw data.
This would give those that did not want to follow the guidelines an
alternative that the FCC may accept.

I'm just flat out scared of the FCC. The way they are in bed with AT&T
and the likes. To be honest, I can get by on what I have. (900, 2.4,
5.8) 3.6, 700, and TV bands would be nice, but what is the cost? I'd
rather hide in the corner with a tin foil hat and not exist.

There is going to have to be a compromise here guys. We will not be
putting together the composite subscriber data for the FCC. There are no
provisions for it. We can ask but then quite frankly I am not too keen
on telling them that most of our members here seem to be reluctant to
tell them who
Let's just get clear right up front... It appears you believe that if we
all appear to be good boy scouts and have feel-good politics, we're more
likely to get what we want considered. I disagree. I dont' think it'll
get us even 3 seconds reconsideration. But I do believe if we make
