The ViRGE cards support a max of 4M RAM. You might be able to install it, although you could probably buy a ViRGE DX on ebay for $5(US) with 4M already. I've never heard of BIOS updates for the ViRGE family, and probably isn't needed for use with XFree86. -- Kevin
