I was able to get my VE/7000 working in 4.1.0 by using the DVI-VGA adapter and plugging it into the DVI port on the card. After that, it worked as expected. XFree86 4.2.0 (and later) allowed me to switch to the VGA port, like one would normally do. HTH. -Andy
