If I didn't make it clear, the above quote is about RWD, not FWD. I am fully 
aware that rearward weight transfer on a FWD is bad, but good on RWD--which 
is the reason I asked why he was advising the use of suspension setups that 
would seem to encourage the opposite of what either driveline configuration 
would need for optimal traction. I then basically answered my own question 
by speculating that he was talking about REBOUND damping, not compression. 
Sorry if I failed to make myself clear in my initial post, especially if it 
made me seem like a dumbass, which I am fairly certain I am not.
