IC was among the most expensive.
people from the wrong side of the tracks, and/or who can't resist the temptation of unlimited free drinks, maybe think "I paid so many thousand rupees for the flight, let me get value for money by getting as many free drinks as I can" (oh, and as for the toffees that get served on takeoff, they'll dip a hand in and scoop up about a dozen for the kids back home - symptoms of the same disease)
Hardly a characteristic of that demographic. Just about everyone (including myself) does all that - in fact, in some airlines the cabin crew positively encourages you to dip freely into the freebies. Binand
