Red Star is supposed to be good. I got the Now brand and apparently
some of the B vitamins are added. I don't know if that is bad but at
least it has them. I haven't figured out where to get Red Star but
there are sites on google. Nutritional yeast is supposed to add amino
acids and B vitamins, particularly B12, to a vegetarian or vegan diet.
I like the taste a lot on popcorn, and it adds a cheesy taste to salad
dressing, can be added to soup or cooked vegetables, beans, etc to
boost protein.

Nancy, What is your preferred brand of nutritional yeast and do you
use flakes, or what?
