Almost all mammals, and virtually all animals, synthesize ascorbic
acid in the liver or kidney. While most animals synthesize ascorbic
acid, there is no scientific evidence that any animal synthesizes the
ill-defined C-complex within its body.
Cats, dogs, rabbits, deer, bunnies, all make their own acorbic acid "in
house". I feel that if "in house" ascorbic acid is good enough to keep
my cats and bunnies in good health, it is good enough for me, LOL.

Myself, I wonder about the ascorbic acid. Awhile back I heard someone
say it was a chemical and we were better off taking the natural
vitamin C. Also, if we take too much of this, could create radicals.
Soo, I started thinking I best find the right kind of C.
