When I make bone broths I add a big dollop of CS before putting the
broth in the fridge, if I'm not going to freeze it right away. This way
it keeps until it gets used up. You know how fast chicken broth can go off.
I also clean cutting boards with CS, spray counter tops with it, spray
the dishcloth and sponge with it.
I tried making tea and coffee with part CS, but the result tasted so
"off" to me I stopped doing that.
My cats get CS (straight or half distilled water) as their drinking
water, and I mix some into their wet food.
Always put some into half and half and cream when opened.
If I have some meat that isn't going to be cooked right away, I spray it
with CS before putting it away in the fridge. I've done the same to
cheese before wrapping it in a paper towel and storing in a plastic bag,
it keeps the mold down.
