[How do i know if what i brewed is EIS or CS.....if it even contains silver?]

-Easy, if you're using pure fine silver and DW you're producing EIS, if you're
using anything else or doing anything else then it will be anything BUT, and
you'll NEVER know what you're producing. The meter is telling you you have
silver...if it's only silver you put in the water it's only going to be silver
the meter is reading...after you do the subtraction thing from initial DW
reading before brewing.

[normal to go down? When does it stop going down?]

-Normal, by anything up to 5ppm or praps more, it'll stop in a few or several
days. When it does it will fluctuate up and down a tad depending on water
temperature, you'll know it's finally stabilized then, and that's when your
meter DOES come in handy.

Keep records and you'll learn a lot more...very quick.

Subject: CS>How to gauge one's CS solution

How do i know if what i brewed is EIS or CS or combination of both or if it
even contains silver? Yesterday, i brewed and my TDS read 7ppm. Today, i
measured again by TDS and it is only 4. Is it normal to go down? When does it
stop going down?
Thanks
