[80% ionic and 20% colloidal.] -That must be dependant on the equipment, environmental conditions, procedures/methods/practices adopted for producing EIS ultimately. I would say ion/particle ratios are unique to the aforesaid criteria, and I haven't read how soon laboratory analysis was conducted after cessation of production...immediately? a day later? a month later? (which would be preferable) Ion/particle ratios can be debated til the cows come home but that debate takes on a whole knew meaning when you're holding lab results in your hand, in tandem with a better understanding of particle sizing.
Everything else is as you say. N. The concentration probably depends on how long it was brewing for. Mine normally reads 7 after the auto Silverpuppy shuts off. It will then go down to about 5 after a couple of days. This would mean it is around 10ppm. dee On 24 Sep 2009, at 17:55, Melly Bag wrote: How do i know if what i brewed is EIS or CS or combination of both or if it even contains silver? Yesterday, i brewed and my TDS read 7ppm. Today, i measured again by TDS and it is only 4. Is it normal to go down? When does it stop going down?
