Pat- I can't really say what would happen with your problem, but I have
been impressed with fast healing of my neck in only one 2 hr. session
and in the pain relief I have gotten from the infrared heat emitter.
The sun might be effective but also comes with the UV rays. The Budwig
protocol includes getting direct sun on bare skin and without glasses
15-30 minutes a day.

I have a clay filled wrap that I heat in the microwave and then velcro it onto
my knee. A year after partial knee replacement I'm still having bursitis or
tendonitis on the medial side under the knee. Would the heat lamp be more
effective than that? Is the sun just as effective as the lamp? (except that
it's not there when you want it sometimes lol)
