Yahoo may also have an iodine group you can check in with. But, just start off slow (a drop or two in water and drink once x day to begin with) and watch for any reactions. Iodine will detox some folks so build up the dosage gradually. If one is allergic to seafood, kelp, etc do NOT take iodine at all. Lola Wish I could be more help with the specs of your iodine.
