If it is absorbed by morning you DO NEED IT. If it is still in evidence in 24
hours, you dont need it.

Harold, don't you mean that if the "spot had been absorbed by morning, then
you DIDN'T need it?" I recently had an iodine patch test done and you could
still see it faintly in the a.m. As a result, I was told I did not need it.

I have been using this mix; “Lugols ’2% for quite awhile now as this was
recommended to gradually build up a low/non existent level.I am 155 lbs 87
years old.I take 3 to 4 drops daily,no problem so far.It was common practice
many years ago [how does 75 grab ya ?],to paint a spot about the size of a
quarter on your tummy in the evening and if the spot had been absorbed by
morning ,the n you needed it.Goiter was fairly common then until the Gov’t
mandated Iodine be added to salt.
