I would agree with that.  It’s not an accurate test.  I take 50mg of Lugol’s 
every day.  I would definitely suggest joining the iodine group on Yahoo.  
Stephanie, the group owner works closely with Dr Brownstone.

Harold, don't you mean that if the "spot had been absorbed by morning, then you 
DIDN'T need it?"  I recently had an iodine patch test done and you could still 
see it faintly in the a.m.  As a result, I was told I did not need it.

I have been using this mix; “Lugols ’2% for quite awhile now  as this was 
recommended to gradually build up a low/non existent level.I am 155 lbs 87 
years old.I take 3 to 4 drops daily,no problem so far.It was common practice 
many years ago [how does 75 grab ya ?],to paint a spot about the size of a 
quarter on your tummy in the evening and if the spot had been absorbed by 
morning ,the 

n you needed it.Goiter was fairly common then until the Gov’t mandated Iodine  
be added to salt.
