I gave up nightshade plants and it made a world of difference for me.  My
arthritis like symptoms are not as severe as some and I don't have joint
disfigurement.  I love tomatoes in the summer so this is a hard one for
me.  Eggplant and peppers I can do without anyway.  Potatoes we switched to
sweet potatoes/yams - which are a different family and don't produce the
same issues.  My fingers especially calmed down right away and have stayed
steady.  One cheat and the next day I am in pain.
