Katie, I'm sure with you on the value of the internet! Re the zapping of the 7 yr. old, I just don't know. But if you post the info to the list--what kind of zapper (include tech stuff probably) someone knowledgeable will give an opinion. Also ask your manufacturer why not use it on your son. It may just be that they haven't used it on youngsters. Most zappers say don't use on pregnant women, but that's only because it hasn't been tried out of fear for the unborn. Totally understandable. My 15 yr old uses ours regularly, but I don't know the answer to your question. It is experimental. pj ps Your husband is doing a smart thing.
