I might try your formula to see if I can quit cokes. It bothers me greatly
that I have no control over a substance that is so empty of good qualities.
Hi Jean & folks,
Peanuts are real dangerous these days. Vast amounts of the ones used in
processed foods come from China and are very, very bad news.
Good news is that you can buy Organically grown, safely processed Sesame
seeds in a paste called "Tahini" and the real products are just like peanut
butter. ( I really liked peanut butter myself - and Tahini along with
Ecco fake Coffee made a big difference to my life! )
The addiction to Coke is as carefully engineered as tobacco. It is a
combination of addictive substances - sugar, caffeine etc., and brilliant
brainwashing to create dreamy associations with the product.
Like most addictions you have to "trick" yourself out of them and an easy
way is the same way as most people can lose weight:
Cut the portions by just 10% per week. Stronger people can make it
more. Drink half the can and VERY deliberately throw the rest away,
thinking thoughts of how disgusting it was........
The whole original "Mineral Water " business was based on substituting it
for booze and coffee - to be one of the "beautiful people" and still
socialise is hard! :-)
Wayne, the hidden success factor in "taste changing" diets is simply in
removing the reinforcing addictive substances. No healthy person could
eat a typical American dessert. ( I used to love USA breakfasts -
flapjacks, cream and honey and a bottomless coffee cup AND Pecan Pie!)
Cheers!
