Alberto, can you provide a copy of your sip.conf & extensions.conf from your Asterisk server, as well as what version of Asterisk you're running? I have a successful interface between Asterisk 1.4 and sipX 3.8.2 using SIP so I'd like to see your files. Then I can compare them with mine. If they're really huge you can send them to me personally instead of the list and I'll reply back to the list with only some relevant portions (if I find anything).

I created a user in Sipxpbx. I created a Sip Trunk Route in the Asterisk to the Sipxpbx, and put the info of the Sipxpbx user in the "outgoing settings" of Asterisk. The Asterisk sends a Sip Register every 20 seconds, and they all receive a 401 error. My previous email has a sample from the registrar.log with the 401 response.
