What about the root sip.conf file -- the one you included doesn't seem to have the general section?

The name of the SIP trunk that is trying to register to my Sipxpbx is TELELIGUE. I have a successful interface between Asterisk 1.4 and sipX 3.8.2 using SIP so I'd like to see your files. Then I can compare them with mine. If they're really huge you can send them to me personally instead of the list and I'll reply back to the list with only some relevant portions (if I find anything). I am setting up a small Voip Cellular Termination Service. On the termination/gateways side I have several hardware from different manufacturers that register to my central Sipxpbx. I have 10 ATAs that register with Sipxpbx and send calls to each other and to the termination outgoing gateways. Now I need to connect a client that has an Asterisk Server with 10 phones. I created a user in Sipxpbx. I created a Sip Trunk Route in the Asterisk to the Sipxpbx, and put the info of the Sipxpbx user in the "outgoing settings" of Asterisk. The Asterisk sends a Sip Register every 20 seconds, and they all receive a 401 error. My previous email has a sample from the registrar.log with the 401 response.
