Hi again Paul, On a related note, when i check the Server Menu on the phone (where trivial FTP was selected), i noticed the IP address was not set (0.0.0.0). There are some FTP login credentials with last option "Bind UA to ID" set to No i think.
I assumed that SipX configuration will push these settings, but clearly its not on the phone. Not even the SNTP server address (which is same as SipX ip address - since i installed from Centos 5 iso). We have been using these phones with these settings for sometime with sipx 3.8 and ROM 4.0 - SIP 2.2.2 and didn't have the freezing problem. The motivation to update to sipx 3.10.3 and the disconnection of line while attempting to transfer to call lead us to update to latest "known-to-working" ROM and SIP version which Tony mentioned 4.1.2 for ROM and 3.1.1 for SIP app. I am a little bit puzzled on the area whether SipX push the Network settings to phone (i.e. Server Type=FTP, ServerAddress=SipxIPaddress)... Its the end of business day, so i cant do a test much but i changed few colleagues phones Server Menu -> Address to SipX ip address. I noticed most of them have Server Type set to FTP. I am really not sure how my phone is set to Trivial FTP.... Mystery for sure.... Would appreciate if you can share your experience and the best course of action to set the Phone's configs right for Sipx 3.10.3 I am prepared to completely delete the TFTPROOT folder and start fresh with the configuration settings that is known to work stable for Polycom 330s. I understand there is a reference config file under /etc/sipxpbx/polcom/mac-address.id/ folder. I was suspecting mine could be corrupted which resulted in invalid configuration generation for phones under TFTPROOT.... Is it possible to share a working config XML or CFG for ROM 4.1.2 SIP 3.1.1 that is known to be stable with Sipx 3.10.3 ? That would greatly help me to get onto right track without doubts as such. Thank you in advance. Paul Mossman wrote: > Hi Cuneyt, > > Did you happen to change the Server Type (under Server Menu) to > TrivialFTP?
