You can try Sipviewer if you don't know how to capture traffic...
http://sipx-wiki.calivia.com/index.php/Display_SIP_message_flow_using_Si pviewer Capturing traffic is the ultimate in terms of detecting what is happening: If you have a managed switch, setup a SPAN or Monitoring port and mirror the PBX Ethernet port (you can also mimic this with a hub [not a switch] between the PBX and the network). Fire up WireShark on a computer plugged into that mirrored port (or into the hub) and start capturing traffic. Try calling in. Stop capturing traffic. Look for SIP traffic coming from the outside world.
