OK, got it. Hold/Resume now works correctly.
*sigh* everything may be in the Wiki, but sometimes finding it is EXTREMELY non-trivial. Without some extra clues from you about what I was looking for, I wouldn't have found it. You only need sipxconfig for this. Don't drop stuff anywhere! You might want to remove anything you put in the tftp directory manually. This is not the way to do that! Please clean up after your pet. Devices>Device Files>(right corner) Add Files, choose Polycom Soundpoint. Upload whatever bootrom and firmware you want and save (sipxconfig name cant have spaces, decimals, etc.) If you have any soundpoint files there, deactivate it, then activate the one you just created. Then restart the phone and it will pick it up if you properly removed what you did before activating it, bad boy. Downgrading the firware doesn't appear to be so easy. I removed all the files that belong to the 3.2.1 firmware from the TFTP directory, put the files for the 3.1.3c firmware there, rebooted the phone, and the phone completely ignored it (not too surprisingly, since it's an older version.) Google is not helping me out much on this one.... How do you get the phone to load the older firmware? Mike Burden Lynk Systems, Inc e-mail: [email protected] Phone: 616-532-4985
