I have run "sipx-dialog-count /var/log/sipxpbx/sipXproxy.log" and it returns
nothing at all. During a call from a softphone to one of the handsets the
following lines are appended to that logfile:

"2010-01-11T14:24:02.103893Z":94:SIP:ERR:sipx.[DOMAIN]:SipUserAgent-2:B6EB4B90:SipXProxy:"SipUserAgent::handleMessage
 SIP message timeout expired with no matching transaction"
"2010-01-11T14:24:03.568697Z":95:SIP:WARNING:sipx.[DOMAIN]:SipRouter-11:B6DB3B90:SipXProxy:"SipUserAgent::send
 PUBLISH request matches existing transaction"
"2010-01-11T14:24:03.674648Z":96:SIP:ERR:sipx.[DOMAIN]:SipUserAgent-2:B6EB4B90:SipXProxy:"SipUserAgent::handleMessage
 SIP message timeout expired with no matching transaction"
"2010-01-11T14:24:08.280282Z":97:SIP:WARNING:sipx.[DOMAIN]:SipRouter-11:B6DB3B90:SipXProxy:"SipUserAgent::send
 INVITE request matches existing transaction"
"2010-01-11T14:24:08.362192Z":98:SIP:ERR:sipx.[DOMAIN]:SipUserAgent-2:B6EB4B90:SipXProxy:"SipUserAgent::handleMessage
 SIP message timeout expired with no matching transaction"

When an attempted call is made from a handset to another handset nothing is
appended to that logfile. There are no extra packets received by the receiving
handset as shown by its own status tools. Having loaded different firmware
versions onto the handsets most of then display "CallEnded" immediately when
dialling another handset but one displays "InvalidNumber". The handsets can
both dial "100" successfully and communicate with the system that way. So all
this leans towards the numbers "200" and "201" not being recognised for some
reason on outbound calls from the physical handsets.

Many thanks

Dan

Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Can't dial between SIP handsets but get dial tone

Dialling 201 from the handset just gives a budy tone and "Call Ended". A call
from the softphone to "sip:2...@domain" works fine.

A siptrace would be handy for such a call.

I would clear my logs, then reboot the phones and ensure they register, then
make a test call. It might be helpful to see that they are using DNS to
register to the sipdomain name and not ip address, as well as they reason
number for why they will not accept the call being sent to them.

Many thank
