The file should be located at
~/Library/Preferences/net.sourceforge.skim-app.skim.bookmarks.plist. Your
Library folder will probably be hidden in Finder, so you may not easily find
it. You can either copy the file using the Terminal, or you can use the Finder
"Go to Folder…" menu item to see the contents of your Library.
Be aware that if you ever want to reinstall a backup copy of this bookmarks
file by copying the file back into this location, you always should run the
command I mentioned in Terminal afterwards. Otherwise the system will simply
ignore this file and overwrite it with whatever is in the database I mentioned.
